Viewtrak designs, manufactures and services proprietary computer hardware and software for meat packing plants. Our systems collect qualitative data about individual carcasses and help plants meet new regulatory requirements, improve quality and yields, and respond to changing market demands. Growing concerns about disease has led to an increased need for tracking systems in the meat industry.

The PG-100 Electronic Pork Grader allows plants to electronically measure and grade pork carcasses in less than three seconds. Viewtrak technology is used across Canada and in many Mexican plants as the basis of payments to the pork producer.

The DT-500 Data Collection System is specially designed to work in the harsh slaughterhouse environment. DT-500 terminals are placed wherever the meat packer is collecting critical data such as carcass weight or grade and the Viewtrak software creates an electronic file that is accessible in real time.

The DT-500 system is already installed in eleven pork packing plants across Canada. The company is working with the Canadian Cattle ID Agency and a number of beef plants to help them implement new electronic identification regulations. Viewtrak's goal is to establish a strong installed base of systems in the pork and beef industries in Canada, and use this base to expand globally.
