Viewtrak’s status as the leader in food-tracking technology was confirmed by the investment support of CANARIE, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving Internet-enabled business. Together, CANARIE and Viewtrak will accelerate development of Beeftrak, Viewtrak’s premium web-based cattle-tracking system.

Using Beeftrak, every participant in the beef supply chain benefits from better information, more efficiency and higher return on investment. With CANARIE assistance, Viewtrak will continue to improve the scope and usability of the Beeftrak program.

CANARIE's mission is to accelerate Canada's advanced Internet use by through development faster networks and the products, applications and services to run on them. Following a funding agreement with Industry Canada, CANARIE. Inc. designed, developed and is operating CA*net 4, Canada's National Research and Innovation Network.
