(ACI) to further develop ACI’s world leading live voice Internet auction, BidLive™, for the commercial livestock industry.  “Combining the BidLive™ system with Viewtrak’s Internet based cattle tracking and management system, Beeftrak™, is a key development in allowing cattle producers who have individual animal information within Beeftrak™ to reach the widest possible audience when they desire to sell their cattle” says Dr. Jake Burlet, President and CEO of Viewtrak.  “These proven, world class systems can be instrumental in providing the beef industry with accurate, objective animal records to capitalize on an animal’s value at time of sale.  Viewtrak’s ability to link this information to Canada’s mandatory individual animal identification numbers provides a great opportunity for beef producers to maximize their returns.  Market development and getting the most out of animals with extensive and accurate records of production is even more critical today given the state of the Canadian beef cattle industry post Mad Cow and with the US border closed to Canadian live cattle exports” adds Burlet.
